What Exactly is Qeryz?

Qeryz is a pop-up, as-you-go survey tool that you can put in any and every webpage you have in your website. You can create surveys in multiple choice, checkbox, scale or a simple text area.

Qeryz is also the best Qualaroo alternative there is. It has similar features, an awesome reporting dashboard and functions that makes sure your data is pure and unskewed.

How do I install Qeryz on my website?

It’s exactly like how you would install Google analytics. Just copy-paste your Qeryz tracking code, and you should be rockin’ Qeryz the moment you set your survey to ‘Active’.

Would I be Able to know Who is answering my Surveys?

Yes. There’s an easy way to install this technology outlined here. Basically if you have any sort of form in your website – email newsletter, contact form, login form, signup form, etc. Qeryz would be able to use the data from those forms and push it to our server whenever that person answers your Qeryz survey.

Can you customize the color of the pop up?

Yes you can. In fact, you can use hex color codes to fully customize the color of your Qeryz survey. We offer this functionality for users who are subscribed with our Pro Plan ($30/mo) and up.

If a user answers a Qeryz survey, will the user see it again on a re-visit to the website?

A user who completes a Qeryz survey won’t be able to see the same survey for a specific period of time depending on how long you set it to be. It can be shown again after 1 – 31 days or you can choose to never show it again after a user answers and completes your survey for the first time.

On another note, if a user already has completed the survey and sees it again after your set amount of period, he/she can simply minimize it and it won’t bother that user again. Probably ever.

Can you Use Qeryz with Google Tag Manager?

Absolutely! And it works perfectly fine.

How much is a Qeryz account?

Qeryz is completely free to use. However, if you require more advanced features and have tons of traffic, you might want to opt for a paid plan.

Our plans and pricing start for as low as $15 and goes up to $79 a month depending on the requirements of the user. In all, we want to make Qeryz as affordable and as useful as possible to people who want to know their traffic better.

How long will a free Qeryz account last?

Basically forever. Well, not really. The more realistic answer is as long as the Qeryz team is alive. :)

Where will I see the results of my Qeryz survey?

You have your own personal dashboard where you can view the responses of your users in your Qeryz survey. It looks like this:

How soon will I see user responses in my Qeryz survey?

Immediately. As soon as a user answers your Qeryz survey in your website, you will be able to see that data pushed in your Qeryz report.

I need help with my Qeryz account, who can help me?

Can I transition all my data from Qualaroo to Qeryz?

Not yet, no. We are still working on that.

Qualaroo has an export feature, we can use that to transition all your data to Qeryz someday should you choose to go with us in the future.

Does Qeryz have an export feature?

Yes we do. You can export all your data to CSV so you can mix and match that data any way you want.

Wouldn’t Qeryz bug my users by always popping up on every page?

Nope. There are two reasons why:

1) You can choose exactly where Qeryz will pop-up. If you need to ask specific questions to people at your pricing page, you can set Qeryz to pop up ONLY at your pricing page. However, if your data gathering can include everyone in your website, then you can make your Qeryz survey site-wide.

2) Qeryz can be minimized. And if a user minimizes a Qeryz survey, it will stay minimized throughout their experience in your website. It won’t pop-out again unless you have a new survey or unless he/she is using a different computer to access your website.

What if I have a site-wide Qeryz survey and a page-specific Qeryz survey? Which will my users see first?

Your users will see the page-specific Qeryz survey first. We believe that a page-specific survey takes precedence before a site-wide survey because a page-specific survey has a target purpose. And it only pops-out on one page so the site-wide survey better give way.

What if I need more than the 50 responses that a free Qeryz account provides?

No problem, there’s a Free Plus account that you can upgrade to which permanently gives you 200 responses a month. All you need to do is to invite 5 friends to use Qeryz.

However, if you think you’ll need more than that, then go ahead and try our Starter ($15/mo) account which gives you 1,000 responses a month to boot!

What if a user stops answering my survey in the middle of it and goes to another page in my website?

We understand that it’s sometimes tempting to click on a link or a button inside your website halfway through a Qeryz survey. When that happens, and the user is taken to another page, he/she will be able to see your Qeryz survey pop-up just the way he/she left it on the previous page.

In short, he/she will be able to continue where he/she left off whether he/she travels to any of your pages – assuming your Qeryz survey is sitewide.

What if a user leaves my website without completing my survey?

Their responses data will still be pushed through to your reports dashboard because we believe all data you receive through your Qeryz survey matters. When the time comes that the user comes back, he/she will be able to see your Qeryz survey just as he/she left it – enabling that user to continue where he/she left off.

Can I get a discount for upgrading my Qeryz account?

Is Qeryz SSL ready?

Yep. Tried and tested. Works on any HTTPS site.

What are the best questions to ask for my Qeryz survey?

We will have blog entries and case studies that we will publish in this blog for this question. There are Qeryz questions that are more effective in gathering responses than others.

Do you have an affiliate program I can join?

As of now, it’s not released yet as the development team is focusing more on improving the Qeryz experience. This is one of the things that we have in our development icebox and we’ll make sure to give you the opportunity to make money from Qeryz soon.

Our suggestion is 2 to 3. It’s simply the best way to encourage users to respond to your survey – and finish it.

How does the Free Forever Plan work?

Do you issue an invoice?

There’s really no need to pay any additional fees for Subdomains. We target on a per domain basis so Subdomains are naturally part of the package.

What’s the Difference between Qeryz and other WordPress survey plugins?

Qeryz is an on-site survey tool. The best thing about it is that you don’t have to take your users to another page for them to give you the insight you’re looking for.

How To Create your First Qeryz Survey

GETTING READY WITH FIRST QERYZ SURVEY

I know you’re excited to use Qeryz so here’s a short guide how to use it in your website.

 GETTING STARTED

On the upper right hand of the Qeryz Page, click “Sign up” and “Login” button to get started.

SUBSCRIPTION

After clicking the “Sign Up” button, fill up the form with the information you are asked to. Don’t hesitate to give data because your identity is safe with us.

If you’re done filling up, click “Get my Qeryz free Account” and check your email to confirm your Qeryz subscription. Link provided on your email will lead you to your Qeryz Dashboard where you can create your first survey.

CREATE YOUR NEW SURVEY

On the upper right corner next to your username, click “Create New Survey” and  provide a title for your survey.

As you can see at the left side of the page, there are pre-defined templates for survey which you can use freely.

VERIFY YOUR TARGET

After creating a name for your survey, click the “Target” tab to verify on what site you’d like to use the survey. Also, you can choose when and how often your survey would be displayed in your site. And yes! Don’t forget to click the “Save” button below the form.

You can now see what your survey look like through “Preview” button located on the right section of your dashboard.

QERYZ SURVEY CODE

On your Dashboard, click “Install Code” right next to your  survey’s title and copy the code. It would open a new window in your browser showing the code of your survey. Copy the code for installing it in your WordPress site.

Log in to your admin section of your WordPress Blog. From your toolbar,  mouse over on “Appearance” and select “Editor”.
